Sussex Dance Network
Lockdown Diaries by Sussex Dance Network was a project that connected with the community’s experience of the COVID-19 pandemic and supported Sussex-based dance artists during this time.

Being Brighton based when the pandemic kicked off, Zoe was commissioned to interpret an audio created by Sussex based composer Joel Cottrell during lockdown. This resulted in the creation of 'BREAK'.
​
BREAK explores the duality between a break/pausing of time, a slowing down of normality, a space to reconnect with the natural world. In contrast it explores the breaking down of structure and the crumbling of normality both in the humanly physical and natural world.
